Instructions for use

Simply fit them into your shoes. They are intended for individual use and may be cleaned when necessary using warm water and mild soap (avoid removing from shoe). Avoid contact with injured skin. Intended to be used with stockings, pantyhose or socks, logo side facing up, elastomer side facing shoe.

Noene inner soles effectively absorb up to 98.8 % of shocks and vibrations to protect your back, tendons and joints during sports and/or leisure activities on hard surfaces. Noene is known for being thin and lightweight, and athletes appreciate that it maintains the sensation of floor contact, without causing biomechanical instability during running, unlike other soles that are too thick, too soft or too viscous.

"With the permanent use of a Noene innersole, isn’t there a risk of reducing the work that the muscles in the arch of the foot have to do, atrophying these muscles over time?"

Noene is not a substitute for any human organ or function. It only filters, neutralizes the shockwave, the vibration following impact, the foot/shoe/hard surface interaction. The shock itself is felt, contrary to many other products which disperse the shock more than destroying its shockwave, which is treacherous and insidious because it is imperceptible until the time comes when… yes, be wary of heavy, sticky, thick innersoles.

"I’ve had problems in the lumbar region of my back for several years and would like your advice on what type of soles I can use..."

Before you do anything, you must consult a doctor – if you’re doing too much sport, consult a sports doctor, otherwise go to your GP or even a rheumatologist for your back. (...)In any case, our product relieves many aches and pains caused by walking, standing about and running on hard surfaces but it is no substitute for the advice of a doctor and an in-depth examination.

Putting them on top will not really be ideal, but underneath (if there is enough room), seems to me the best solution… Even better, get your podiatrist to make you a new pair based on Noene...

"What do I use to clean them?"

Warm water and a little bit of household soap… and here’s a tip to make them last longer. Take them out of the shoes and let them air after each use and avoid putting them from one shoe into another.

"I have been using Noene innersoles for years in my street shoes in particular, and I’m very pleased. I am writing to you to ask what risk there might be if the innersoles were used the wrong way round, putting the left one in the right shoe and vice versa, having washed them and removed any markings showing which is which."

Placing the naked foot directly on elastomer is never recommended, this is why we always recommend that you wear socks. But you have certainly noticed the difference between the fabric side and the elastomer side, you can easily tell simply by the feel. Once you’ve identified it, make a mark or stick on a little disc or a sticker.

"I took my Lady innersoles out of my town shoes because they were dirty, I washed them in soapy water but the adhesive underneath the innersole doesn’t stick any more".

We do actually recommend that you don’t remove them once they are in place in the shoe, but in the shops you will find double-sided adhesive tape which will suit the purpose perfectly.

"...where looks are concerned, I find the yellow Noene logo a bit garish for my taste, especially in smart court shoes!!" ...

You are quite right, we're going to put it right soon, but the kids who use them to dance like crazy every night really enjoy them!!
