Instructions for use

Simply fit them into the heel area of your shoes. They are intended for individual use and may be cleaned when necessary using warm water and mild soap (dry away from heat source) and replace adhesive. Avoid contact with injured skin. Wear heel pads with socks, logo side facing up, elastomer side facing shoe.

"With the permanent use of a Noene innersole, isn’t there a risk of reducing the work that the muscles in the arch of the foot have to do, atrophying these muscles over time?"

Noene is not a substitute for any human organ or function. It only filters, neutralizes the shockwave, the vibration following impact, the foot/shoe/hard surface interaction. The shock itself is felt, contrary to many other products which disperse the shock more than destroying its shockwave, which is treacherous and insidious because it is imperceptible until the time comes when… yes, be wary of heavy, sticky, thick innersoles.

"I’ve had problems in the lumbar region of my back for several years and would like your advice on what type of soles I can use..."

Before you do anything, you must consult a doctor – if you’re doing too much sport, consult a sports doctor, otherwise go to your GP or even a rheumatologist for your back. Putting them on top will not really be ideal, but underneath (if there is enough room), seems to me the best solution… Even better, get your podiatrist to make you a new pair based on Noene...

"What do I use to clean them?"

Warm water and a little bit of household soap… and here’s a tip to make them last longer. Take them out of the shoes and let them air after each use and avoid putting them from one shoe into another.

"I have been using Noene innersoles for years in my street shoes in particular, and I’m very pleased. I am writing to you to ask what risk there might be if the innersoles were used the wrong way round, putting the left one in the right shoe and vice versa, having washed them and removed any markings showing which is which."

Placing the naked foot directly on elastomer is never recommended, this is why we always recommend that you wear socks. But you have certainly noticed the difference between the fabric side and the elastomer side, you can easily tell simply by the feel. Once you’ve identified it, make a mark or stick on a little disc or a sticker. You could also cut a piece out of the outer edge of each foot and that would help you to tell more easily.

I have been playing basketball for over 10 years and I’m now troubled by pains in the Achilles tendon, which is why I’ve set out to find something that could give me relief. I’ve seen your products, they appear interesting, but I’m hesitating between the heel pads and the innersoles. Could you give me a little more information? I should mention that I also suffer often from pain in the lumbar region of my back."

Quite honestly, I always advise the innersole. The new Atlas Carbone model should be ideal in your trainers as a replacement for the original protective innersole. As well as this, dare I say this, use NOENE innersoles on a day-to-day basis and slip a pair of NO2’s into your street shoes, this should also give you more rapid pain relief.
